Data We Process in the Shop and at Payment
Creating an account
If you create an account, we store your name, e-mail address and a hashed form of the password you chose. An account is not required to place an order — you can order as a guest.
Orders and delivery
When you place an order we process your first name, surname, e-mail, phone number and delivery address. This data is used to create the order, plan production, prepare the shipment and meet our statutory record-keeping obligations. Only the details needed to make the delivery are shared with the carrier.
Design data
The text you enter and any logo or artwork you upload while customising your mat are stored so the product can be manufactured. We use this content solely to produce your order.
Payment — we do not store your card details
Payment is taken through iyzico. Your card number, expiry date and CVV never reach Entry Mark Carpets servers; we do not see, process or store them. They are entered directly on iyzico's secure payment form. We store only the outcome of the payment (approved or failed), the transaction reference issued by iyzico and the amount collected.
Country detection (GeoIP)
So that we can show you the prices of the right market, only the country is derived from your IP address. No city, coordinates or individual location is derived, and your IP address is not retained for this purpose. If you select your delivery country yourself, your choice always takes precedence over automatic detection.
Market preference cookie
The delivery country you selected is stored in a first-party cookie named
emc_market_country. The cookie holds a two-letter country code only; it contains no
price, amount or identifying information. It lasts
30 days.
Currency conversion
Prices may be displayed in the currency of your market, while collection is made in TRY. The exchange rate used is recorded against your order. No additional personal data is collected for this — only the rate and the amounts are stored.
Record of legal acceptance
When you accept the Distance Sales Agreement and the Preliminary Information Form, the date of acceptance, the version you accepted and a copy of the text are stored against your order. For evidential purposes in the event of a dispute we keep an irreversible, salted hash of your IP address; the full IP address is not stored.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the name, e-mail, phone number and message you provide are processed in order to respond to your enquiry.
Analytics and advertising
No third-party analytics or advertising trackers are used on this site. If that changes, this notice and the Cookie Policy are updated.
